SOP for Saffron Farm & Biotech Lab Visit – Malur / Other Lab’s 

Apart from saffron cultivation at Voliwin, we also produce a range of saffron-based products such as saffron chocolates, cosmetics, soaps, and more. Visitors can explore, understand the production process, and purchase these products during the Saffron Farm Tour.

1. Purpose

This SOP defines the guidelines, safety protocols, and fee structure for visitors entering the saffron farm and biotech production facility at Malur, ensuring hygiene, safety, and uninterrupted production.

2. Visitor Fee

• ₹1000 per person + 18% GST
• Total: ₹1180 per person

Note:
This fee is nominal compared to the actual costs involved due to:

• Production shutdown (up to 24 hours)
• Aseptic lab sanitization
• Disinfection and hygiene maintenance
• Protection of sensitive biotech processes

3. Payment Policy

• 100% advance payment is mandatory at the time of booking
• Booking is confirmed only after payment

4. No Refund / No Rescheduling Policy

• No refunds will be provided under any circumstances
• No postponement or rescheduling of the fixed visit date or time is allowed
• Visitors must strictly adhere to the allotted schedule

5. Nature of Facility

The Malur unit is a:

• Registered saffron farm and biotech lab
• Includes aseptic and controlled production areas

Visitors can also explore:

• Other biotech productions
• Indoor farming technologies
• Value-added agricultural innovations

6. Visit Time Restrictions (Strictly Enforced)

• Follow all staff instructions
